Ye Olde Printerie. I printed Ex.D. I think Mrs. Brewer gave me
the original order for the printing. I can't remember whether I
received a typewritten or manuscript copy to print from. There
is an entry in our day book on 21.6.28 for 200 copies of Ex.D.
That would not necessarily be original order for Ex.D. I supplied
proofs. N.I.B.6 conforms generally to x.D except for certain

I have no record of any change in method of making up balance
sheet. Had I altered N.I.B.6 to N.I.B.8 that would have been a
serious alteration. We would have charged for resetting. We
have no record of any such charge. N.I.B.6 has some alterations
in Chinese characters. I produce Ex.E. It is a proof of Ex.D.
Mr. Davidson objects to production of slip pinned on to Ex.E.

delivered without green backs before 13.7.28. Only proofs can
